LifeFit Academy beat Sahara by seven wickets in Pune Under-12 Champs Trophy

LifeFit Cricket Academy won its second consecutive league match in the Champs Trophy Under-12 cricket tournament, organised in Pune by LifeFit Cricket Academy. The tournament is being played at the Sahara Cricket Ground in Dhayari, where LifeFit beat Sahara Cricket Academy by seven wickets.

In the second match the same day, Kothrud Cricket Academy beat Sahara Cricket Academy by eight wickets. It was Kothrud's first win in the tournament.

In the first match, Malhar Potnis's effective bowling was a major reason for LifeFit's win. Batting first, Sahara Cricket Academy scored 114 for seven in 22 overs. Sarthak Salvi made 30, Vivan Walimbe 23 and Mauli Shinde 12. For LifeFit, Sanchit took two wickets, while Veer Joshi and Malhar Potnis dismissed one batter each.

Chasing 115 to win, LifeFit Cricket Academy reached 115 for seven in 21.3 overs to take the match. Reyansh Kulkarni made 27 and Neel Rathod contributed 12. For Sahara Cricket Academy, Vivan Walimbe and Adit Dabhekar took two wickets each. Malhar Potnis, who shone with both bat and ball, was named Man of the Match.

In the second match, Kothrud's Arnav Sakharshete starred with fast bowling. Sahara Cricket Academy, batting first, were all out for just 59 in 18.1 overs. Mauli Shinde made 17. Arnav Sakharshete took three wickets for just two runs. Hari Ugale and Sanay Mutalik took two wickets each to wrap up the Sahara innings.

Chasing 60, Kothrud Cricket Academy scored 63 for two in just 7.1 overs and won comfortably. Arnav Karandikar played an aggressive innings of 29, while Om Pawar remained not out on 13. For Sahara Cricket Academy, Anvay Kapde took two wickets. Arnav Sakharshete, who bowled accurately, was chosen Man of the Match.
