Komaki One Ace electric scooter priced at Rs 66,499, claimed range over 150 km
The company claims the Komaki One Ace, built for daily city commutes, can travel more than 150 km on a full charge.
With petrol costs rising, more people are leaning towards electric scooters for their daily commute, and the Komaki One Ace could be a good option. The scooter has an ex-showroom price of Rs 66,499 and is designed for daily city travel.
The One Ace has a 2.2 kWh lithium ferro phosphate battery. The company claims the scooter can deliver more than 150 km on a full charge, which could ease worries about frequent charging on trips to the office, college or around the city. The battery can be charged from an ordinary household socket and takes about 4 to 5 hours to go from 0 to 100 per cent.
The scooter is powered by a BLDC hub motor. Its top speed is between 50 and 60 kmph, which may be enough for everyday use in city traffic. It comes with three modes, Eco, Sport and Turbo, to suit the journey. Braking is by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
Among the features, the One Ace has a Vibrant Smart Dash display showing key ride information. It also offers Reverse Assist, Parking Assist, Repair Switch, Cruise Control and Keyless Entry. An Ultra Bright Full LED Lighting System is provided for night riding, and there is 18 litres of boot space.
The scooter is available in six colour options. The battery, motor and controller carry a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km. For buyers seeking good range and useful everyday features on a small budget, it is a scooter worth considering.
