Jai Jai Swami Samarth to air Navratri special on four women facing Ranjeet's tyranny
The serial's special episodes, 'Jagar Shakti Ka - Mahima Swami Ka', show Swami bringing together four oppressed women to awaken their inner strength.
The serial 'Jai Jai Swami Samarth' will present a special run of episodes for Navratri. The episodes are titled 'Jagar Shakti Ka - Mahima Swami Ka'. In them, Swami brings together several oppressed women and makes them aware of the strength hidden within them.
At the centre of the story is Ranjeet, brother-in-law of the subedar of Akkalkot. Misusing power and authority, Ranjeet has wronged many people in the village. The episodes will tell the story of four women who suffered his atrocities.
The four women's circumstances differ, but the root of their pain is the same: Ranjeet's demonic tendencies, likened to those of Mahishasura. The coming episodes will therefore show a clash between Swami and Ranjeet.
The story begins with a unique leela of Swami. He tells his sevekaris that a awakening of feminine power will take place this Navratri. The dark side of the four women's struggles then begins to unfold.
The first story is that of Madhuwanti. Only 21, she has lost her husband because of Ranjeet. Her husband, who had won a wrestling bout against Ranjeet, was murdered by him. After her husband's death, Madhuwanti goes to the temple to plead for justice, and it is then that Swami enters her life.
Encouraging her, Swami assures Madhuwanti: "You will get justice." But her path to justice is not easy. Ranjeet tries to place obstacles even in her grief, and will try to obstruct the rites that follow her husband's death. Even so, each time Swami's leela will rush to Madhuwanti's aid.
With Madhuwanti's story, the spark of conflict between Swami and Ranjeet also flares. Swami speaks plainly and sternly to Ranjeet, who challenges the self-respect of women.
Ranjeet is proud, believing that women are weak and cannot harm him. But Swami reminds him that the power of the goddess lies hidden within every woman.
Swami's warning, "You are forgetting... Navratri is coming!", shakes Ranjeet. The women he has always considered weak are now about to stand against him.
Ranjeet will throw all his strength into bending the four women. He will try to frighten them with threats, pressure, attacks and misuse of power. But Swami will stand with them in every crisis.
In this special Navratri run, the four women's journey will move from sorrow to struggle, and from struggle to inner strength. The journey will culminate in the Simolanghan of Vijayadashami.
How the strength hidden within the four women will awaken, how they will face Ranjeet's atrocities and how far Swami's leela will take them will be answered in these special episodes of 'Jagar Shakti Ka - Mahima Swami Ka'. The run is not only the story of four women's struggle, but will also present the story of women's self-respect and the power to stand up against injustice.
