Indonesian trainer's attempt to kiss king cobra rejected every time in viral video
A video showing an Indonesian animal trainer repeatedly trying to kiss a king cobra, which turns away each time, has amused and startled social media users.
Videos of animals are shared often on social media. Some show scenes of hunting, others the close bond between an animal and its owner. A new video online has both surprised and amused viewers.
In the video, a young man is seen playing around with a king cobra. He tries again and again to kiss the snake, but each time the cobra turns its neck the other way, as if to say it had said no. The man who went to kiss the snake was rejected every time. His plight and the cobra's reaction are now widely discussed.
The man in the viral video is said to be well-known Indonesian animal trainer Rimba Petualang. He is seen performing some risky stunts with a very large king cobra. People usually run far away on seeing a king cobra. Here it was the reverse: the trainer kept moving towards the cobra to kiss it, while the cobra turned its neck and tried to get away from him.
In the video, the man goes near the cobra's hood several times, but each time the snake moves away. The scene looks so funny that many viewers cannot hold back their laughter. Some social media users are mocking the trainer for being rejected by the king cobra, while others have praised his courage.
The video was shared from an Instagram account named @rimbapetualang_real. It is going viral quickly and many users have posted their views. One user wrote, "The cobra must have thought he would swallow it." Another wrote, "Have things got so bad for the man that he wants to kiss a king cobra?" Yet another wrote, "If the cobra had struck by mistake, the result would have looked very different."
