Indira IVF has inaugurated its new fertility centre in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. With the centre's opening, people and couples in the city and surrounding areas will have easier access to fertility counselling, tests and assisted reproductive services.

The centre will identify and treat infertility-related problems in both men and women. Clinical and lab procedures will run on standard protocols, technology-based systems and patient safety measures.

The centre is on the second floor of Saluja Building, above the Croma and Pantaloons stores, on Nagpur Road in Bapat Nagar, Postman Colony, Wadgaon, Chandrapur. According to the centre, patients from Chandrapur and nearby areas will have less need to travel to other cities for specialised fertility care and will get treatment and medical advice close to home.

Infertility is an important reproductive health problem that can affect both men and women. It can have varied medical, hormonal and reproductive causes. Fertility treatment often requires medical consultation, necessary tests, a treatment process and regular follow-up. Having a specialist's services nearby is therefore important for patients.

Indian Medical Association (IMA) president Dr Prasad Potdukhe and dermatologist and aesthetic surgeon Dr Snehal Potdukhe were chief guests at the inauguration. Chandrapur Civil Surgeon Dr Bandu Ramteke was the guest of honour. Dr Anshul Bhivapurkar, gynaecologist, IVF specialist and centre head of Indira IVF Nagpur, and Dr Nikita Gajbhiye, gynaecologist, IVF specialist and centre head of Indira IVF Chandrapur, were also present. Medical professionals, senior representatives and other dignitaries attended.

Dr Prasad Potdukhe said infertility can have many causes and can affect one or both partners. According to him, it is very important to get the necessary tests done to understand the cause and decide the right treatment. He said awareness and timely medical advice help people and couples make informed decisions about their reproductive health. He added that specialised fertility services in Chandrapur will give people in the area one more opportunity for professional guidance and treatment.

Nitiz Murdia, managing director of Indira IVF Hospital Limited, said the Chandrapur centre's inauguration is part of the company's continuing expansion in Maharashtra. According to him, the aim of opening new centres in different areas is to serve local needs while following uniform clinical and lab protocols. He said the Chandrapur centre will offer all fertility tests and treatment under one roof, and digital systems will be used in clinical documentation and patient care processes.

Dr Anshul Bhivapurkar said that with the Chandrapur centre, Indira IVF has added another modern centre to its growing network in India. According to her, people and couples in Chandrapur and nearby areas will get fertility counselling, necessary tests and assisted reproductive services locally.

Dr Nikita Gajbhiye said the centre will offer treatment for infertility-related problems in men and women. She said these services will be backed by standard clinical protocols, lab processes and digital patient care systems. According to her, the centre in Chandrapur will strengthen Indira IVF's presence in Maharashtra and speed up efforts to make specialised fertility services easier to access in the area.
