India won the toss and elected to bowl first against West Indies in the second One-Day International of the series, to be played in Guwahati today. The match starts at 2 pm.

India lead the series 1-0. They beat West Indies comfortably in the first match, in which captain Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli scored centuries. After that one-sided win, the Indian team will look to win the second match too. Gill leads the side, and he, Rohit Sharma and Kohli have been in fine form of late.

The Caribbean side, led by Shai Hope, lost the first match, in which their middle-order batting faltered. To contain the Indian batters, West Indies will have to bowl the right line and length. The West Indies squad also has explosive players who can turn a match around, so India will need to be wary.

Today's match could be a special and historic one for Rohit Sharma. He needs only 73 runs to complete 12,000 runs in ODI cricket. If he reaches the mark today, he will join an elite club. For India, only Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar and star batter Kohli have scored more than 12,000 ODI runs.

India's playing XI: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill (captain), Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Naman Dhir, Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Gurnoor Brar, Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna.

West Indies' playing XI: John Campbell, Justin Greaves, Keacy Carty, Shai Hope (captain and wicketkeeper), Amir Jangoo, Jewel Andrew, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Gudakesh Motie, Alzarri Joseph and Jayden Seales.

India go into the second match with a 1-0 lead and aim to seal the win, while West Indies must put the first-match defeat behind them and try to make a comeback. The match begins at 2 pm in Guwahati.
