Illegal parking near Gondia rest house troubles residents and commuters

Private vehicles from Madhya Pradesh have been parked beside the local rest house in Gondia for the past few years. People visiting the rest house, and commuters and residents using the road, are facing considerable trouble as a result.

The illegal parking has created a serious traffic problem on the road. Drivers and owners of the private vehicles are rude to commuters and local residents. Citizens have made a serious allegation that Ramnagar police station and the Gondia traffic branch are shielding the whole affair. It is also being said that a former BJP corporator is behind it.

There is intense anger among ordinary citizens and city residents. The demand is growing that the administration settle the matter at once and clear the road and the surrounding area of encroachment so that it is free for traffic. Citizens are also demanding strict legal action against those responsible for the unlawful practice.
