Hero Splendor tops August sales again with 70km mileage at Rs 78,000
Hero Splendor again topped August 2026 two-wheeler sales, leading a strong month for the company across budget, scooter and electric segments.
Hero MotoCorp, the country's top two-wheeler company, held on to its strong market position in August 2026 sales figures. Customers are backing Hero vehicles heavily due to affordable pricing, strong mileage and modern features. As usual, the Hero Splendor once again topped the list of best-selling bikes and retained its number one position.
The Splendor sold 3,53,842 units in August, the highest of any model, to take first place. The bike is priced from Rs 78,000 and comes with a digital console, USB charger, i3S technology and a 97.2cc engine. The engine delivers mileage of 65 to 70 km per litre.
In the budget segment, the Hero HF Deluxe ranked second with sales of 69,794 units. The bike is priced from Rs 59,477 and is known for its lightweight design as well as mileage of 65 km per litre.
In the premium scooter segment, the Hero Destini 125 gained 29,737 new customers. It is priced from Rs 79,338 and offers Bluetooth connectivity, a boot light and mileage of 45 to 50 km per litre.
In the electric segment, the Hero Vida V1 scooter strengthened its position with sales of 25,558 units. It is priced from Rs 1,19,900 and comes with a 7-inch touchscreen and a real-world range of 110 to 140 km on a single charge.
The Hero Passion, known for its stylish look, sold 15,245 units. It is priced from Rs 80,273 and offers mileage of 55 to 60 km per litre.
The Hero Xtreme 125R, popular among young buyers for its sporty look and strong performance, sold 13,131 units. Priced from Rs 91,500, the bike comes with single-channel ABS and mileage of 60 km per litre.
Overall, in August 2026, Hero's vehicles across every segment, from budget commuter bikes to modern electric scooters, received a strong response from customers. Low prices and strong features continue to make Hero the first choice for buyers.
