Hero MotoCorp's much-awaited sports bike, the Hero Karizma XMR 250, has been spotted in India once again. This time the bike was seen at a company dealership in a new red colour. Earlier, it had been seen in a red and black dual-tone shade.

The company has not yet announced a launch date. Even so, the appearance of the bike in a new colour has raised public curiosity about its launch.

The new model has a red body with white graphics and black panels. The fuel tank, front fairing and rear section are red. The mudguard is white, while black is used on the tank insert and side panels. The fairing carries white graphics, the tank has Karizma branding, and XMR graphics are placed on the lower section. Black alloy wheels and black mirrors add to the bike's sporty look.

On the engine, the Karizma XMR 250 is said to get a 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine. It can produce 29.6 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox is expected with it. The engine is based on the company's existing 210cc engine.

Among features and hardware, a split LED headlamp, clip-on handlebars and a TFT instrument console are expected. Slipper and assist clutch, dual-channel ABS and integrated winglets may also feature. The bike is likely to get a trellis frame, a golden USD front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock suspension. This setup could improve stability and the riding experience on different roads.

In connectivity, features such as Hero Connect 2.0, turn-by-turn navigation, music control and Intelligent Automatic Illumination may be offered. The bike is likely to be sold through Premia, the company's premium dealership network.

In the Indian market, it may compete with sports bikes such as the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200 and Yamaha R2. An official announcement from the company on the price, final features and launch date is yet to come. The final features will also be confirmed only after the company's announcement.
