Gold rises to Rs 1,50,290 per 10 grams for 24-carat; Nagpur rate same

Gold prices rose again today. On October 3, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,50,290 for 10 grams in the country. A day earlier, on October 2, it stood at Rs 1,49,230.

The October 3 rates are as follows. 24-carat gold is Rs 15,029 per gram, 22-carat is Rs 13,776 per gram and 18-carat is Rs 11,272 per gram. For 10 grams, 22-carat is Rs 1,37,760 and 18-carat is Rs 1,12,720.

On October 2, the rates were slightly lower. That day, 24-carat gold was Rs 14,923 per gram, 22-carat Rs 13,679 and 18-carat Rs 11,192. For 10 grams, 22-carat was Rs 1,36,790, 24-carat Rs 1,49,230 and 18-carat Rs 1,11,920.

Silver saw no movement. On October 3, silver is Rs 234.90 per gram and Rs 2,34,900 per kg. It was at the same rate on October 2.

In Nagpur, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,37,760 for 10 grams today, 24-carat is Rs 1,50,290 and 18-carat is Rs 1,12,720. Rates for all three carats in Mumbai, Pune, Kerala, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru are the same as in Nagpur.

In Chennai, the 22-carat and 24-carat rates are the same, Rs 1,37,760 and Rs 1,50,290. The only difference is in 18-carat, which is Rs 1,13,160 for 10 grams there.

In Nashik, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,37,790, 24-carat Rs 1,50,320 and 18-carat Rs 1,12,750. In Surat, 22-carat is Rs 1,37,810, 24-carat Rs 1,50,360 and 18-carat Rs 1,12,770.

Delhi has the highest gold rates, with 22-carat at Rs 1,37,910, 24-carat at Rs 1,50,460 and 18-carat at Rs 1,12,870. The same rates apply in Chandigarh, Jaipur and Lucknow.

Buyers should note that these rates exclude GST, TCS and other taxes. Check with a local jeweller for the final amount payable.
