Gold rises again on October 28, silver steady at Rs 2,19,900 per kg

Gold prices continued to rise on October 28, while silver remained at the same level as before. In the country, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 14,330 per gram today. The rate for 22-carat gold is Rs 13,136 per gram and for 18-carat gold Rs 10,758 per gram.

Per 10 grams, 22-carat gold is at Rs 1,31,360, 24-carat gold at Rs 1,43,300 and 18-carat gold at Rs 1,07,580 on October 28. Silver is at Rs 219.90 per gram, or Rs 2,19,900 per kg.

Rates a day earlier, on October 27, were lower. That day, 24-carat gold was Rs 14,276 per gram, 22-carat Rs 13,086 per gram and 18-carat Rs 10,707 per gram. Per 10 grams, 22-carat gold was Rs 1,30,860, 24-carat gold Rs 1,42,760 and 18-carat gold Rs 1,07,070. Silver was then also at Rs 219.90 per gram and Rs 2,19,900 per kg.

In the cities, 10 grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 1,31,360, 24-carat gold Rs 1,43,300 and 18-carat gold Rs 1,07,580 in Nagpur today. In Chennai, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,31,360 and 24-carat Rs 1,43,300, but 18-carat gold is at Rs 1,07,510.

In Surat, gold is Rs 1,31,410 (22-carat), Rs 1,43,350 (24-carat) and Rs 1,07,530 (18-carat) per 10 grams. In Nashik, buyers have to pay Rs 1,31,390 for 22-carat, Rs 1,43,330 for 24-carat and Rs 1,07,610 for 18-carat. In Delhi, 22-carat gold is Rs 1,31,510, 24-carat Rs 1,43,450 and 18-carat Rs 1,07,630 per 10 grams.

Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur have the same rates as Delhi. In all three cities, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs 1,31,510, 24-carat gold Rs 1,43,450 and 18-carat gold Rs 1,07,630.

Rates in Mumbai, Pune, Kerala, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad are the same as in Nagpur. Here, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs 1,31,360, 24-carat gold Rs 1,43,300 and 18-carat gold Rs 1,07,580.
