Gold prices dip slightly, silver holds steady
Gold fell across Indian cities on September 23 while silver rates remained unchanged from the previous day.
Gold prices saw a slight dip today, while silver held steady at yesterday's level. On September 23, the price of 24 carat gold came down to Rs 1,53,320 per 10 grams, and 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams.
Compared to September 22, 24 carat gold fell by Rs 1,250 today. Yesterday's price of Rs 1,54,570 per 10 grams dropped to Rs 1,53,320 today. Similarly, 22 carat gold fell from yesterday's Rs 1,41,690 to Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams today.
In terms of per gram rates, 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 15,332 per gram today, 22 carat gold at Rs 14,054 per gram, and 18 carat gold at Rs 11,499 per gram. 18 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,14,990 per 10 grams today.
Silver saw no change today. Silver is priced at Rs 249.90 per gram and Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram, the same as yesterday.
Across cities, Mumbai, Kerala, Kolkata, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Surat, Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur have today's 22 carat gold price at Rs 1,40,540 per 10 grams, 24 carat at Rs 1,53,320 per 10 grams, and 18 carat at Rs 1,14,990 per 10 grams.
Rates differ slightly in Nashik, where 22 carat gold is selling at Rs 1,41,890, 24 carat at Rs 1,54,790, and 18 carat at Rs 1,16,100 per 10 grams. In Chennai, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,41,840, 24 carat at Rs 1,54,740, and 18 carat at Rs 1,19,540 per 10 grams.
All these prices exclude GST, TCS and other taxes. It is advisable to check with your local jeweller for the exact rate.
