Soman has also shared the Ganesh Chaturthi dates for the next 11 years. According to this, Bappa will arrive early next year, and by 2028, Ganesh Chaturthi will fall in the month of August itself.
This year, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on September 14, 2026. From that day, Ganpati arrived with festivity in homes and public pandals, and Ganeshotsav began. A devotional atmosphere is currently visible everywhere because of the festival. Ganesh Visarjan is due tomorrow, September 25.
Meanwhile, panchang expert and astronomer Da. Kru. Soman has said that Bappa will arrive early next year. According to Soman, Ganesh Chaturthi will fall on September 4 in 2027. These dates are as follows: September 4 in 2027, August 23 in 2028, September 11 in 2029, September 1 in 2030, September 20 in 2031, September 8 in 2032, August 28 in 2033, September 16 in 2034, September 5 in 2035, August 24 in 2036 and September 12 in 2037.

The date of Ganesh Chaturthi does not fall on the same day every year according to the English calendar. Ganesh Chaturthi is determined according to the Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi date in the Hindu Panchang. This is why the date of Ganesh Chaturthi keeps shifting earlier or later each year on the English calendar. This is why Ganesh Chaturthi, which fell on September 14 in 2026, will fall on September 4 in 2027.
Notably, this date will come even earlier in 2028, with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated on August 23, 2028. These dates make clear that in the coming years, Ganesh Chaturthi will fall in August as well as September.
This information on Ganesh Chaturthi dates has been given according to panchang expert and astronomer Da. Kru. Soman. Since the date of Ganesh Chaturthi is determined according to the Hindu Panchang, there may be some variation according to local panchangs or religious traditions. One should check the relevant local panchang before preparing for the puja rituals or religious programme.
