The injured, 47-year-old Jitendra Thakre, was passing in front of the NIT parking plaza on the evening of September 22. There, the accused Shyam Tiwari (22) of Gawlipura, Dharampeth, Jayashri Ramesh Kanade (35) and Mayank Raghupathi Mishra (19) of Takiya, Dhantoli, were having an argument with a taxi driver.
