Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) chief Abhijit Dipke launched a sharp attack on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at a press conference in Delhi. He said Gyanesh Kumar was the country's biggest traitor and should resign immediately, adding that Gyanesh Kumar had become the biggest threat to India's democracy.

There has been unrest nationwide after differences emerged among the three Election Commissioners of the Election Commission. It was against this backdrop that Dipke made his aggressive remarks over what he called Gyanesh Kumar's arbitrary conduct.

The CJP said clearly that if Gyanesh Kumar did not resign within 48 hours, the party would launch an agitation across the country. Dipke warned that if the demand was not met, the CJP would not stay silent and would mount a nationwide protest.

"Gyanesh Kumar is the biggest traitor in this country. He is the biggest anti-national. Through the SIR, he has removed the names of more than 13 crore voters across the country. Since Gyanesh Kumar became Election Commissioner, more than 13 crore voters have had their names cut in various states. Is Gyanesh Kumar deliberately cutting votes so that the BJP never loses power? What was the need to do all this?" Dipke said.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka was also present at the press conference. He said, "We appeal to the country's Generation Z and youth that you must all come forward to save the country. Every citizen of this country has had the right to vote since independence. Even when more than 90 percent of the population was poor, Babasaheb and Pandit Nehru had said that every citizen should have the right to vote."

Ranka further said, "What did democracy mean in our country? Democracy means people choosing their government. Since Gyanesh became Chief Election Commissioner, the government itself is deciding who should have the right to vote and who should not. What kind of definition of democracy is this? You have turned the very basic concept of democracy upside down."
