Kinder, the popular confectionery brand of Ferrero, one of the world's largest companies in the packaged sweets sector, has come out with something new this Diwali. The brand recently introduced its special festive gifting series, 'Kinder Happiness Times'.

The series is designed so that the new generation can learn about Diwali traditions, the interesting stories behind them and the importance of the festival while playing. The brand says parents play the most important role in passing the heritage of their culture on to children. With this in mind, Kinder has turned traditional Diwali customs into fun games, so that every member of the family can enjoy the festival fully.

Moving away from the ordinary square gift boxes sold in the market, Kinder has launched a series of three special festive packs. The packs are inspired by the shapes of the rocket, the anar (fountain firecracker) and the kandil (lantern), the main attractions of Diwali. They include Kinder Joy, Kinder Creamy and Kinder Schoko-Bons Crispy.

Each pack gives Kinder's popular flavours a special Diwali twist. They also come with interesting stories, information and small and big activities that give families a chance to experience the festival's traditions in a new way. The main idea behind this is that parents and children sit together to play, learn and spend relaxed moments while getting to know Diwali traditions.

The new gifting series was unveiled by well-known actress Karisma Kapoor at a special event at Phoenix Marketcity in Mumbai on October 13. The brand's festive mantra, "Make festivals special, with Kinder", was presented through a different kind of hands-on experience. The enthusiasm of 'Kinder Happiness Times' was added to all the traditional elements, including rangoli, toran, diyas, kandils, flower garlands and sweets.

Through the Kinder Festive Home, an arrangement has been made so that people do not merely watch the festival's traditions from a distance but take part in them. In this walk-through for families, a Diwali tradition can be experienced in every corner of the home. The home begins with making rangoli, stringing a toran of leaves and flowers, lighting diyas in the courtyard, decorating kandils and hanging flower garlands.

The Kinder Diwali experience, running from October 10 to 24, is open to all.

Zohar Kapoorwala, marketing head of Ferrero India, said: "Diwali means tradition, good stories and happy moments spent in peace with family. Through the 'Kinder Happiness Times' gifting series, we want to evoke these traditional feelings. These gift packs, with their unique rocket, anar and kandil shapes, bring the excitement of Diwali to the sweetness of Kinder, and through the Kinder Festive Home families can take part themselves and enjoy the festival. Karisma Kapoor's lively presence added to the glamour of the event. We are confident that 'Kinder Happiness Times' will be an important part of this year's Diwali celebrations."

The Kinder Happiness packs, with their attractive packaging, are now available at traditional grocery stores, modern trade outlets and e-commerce platforms across the country.
