DMRC invites applications for 73 posts on deputation and post-retirement contract

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued a notification for recruitment to 73 posts, including supervisor, engineer, senior engineer and others. Offline applications will be accepted till November 4, 2026, and must be sent in the prescribed format by post or by email.

The posts advertised are in the architecture, civil, track, signalling and telecommunication, and environment departments. The recruitment is for Jaipur Phase 2 and Delhi-NCR. Appointments will be made on deputation and on post-retirement contract.

The notification does not separately mention an educational degree or diploma for each post. Eligibility rests mainly on the candidate's current salary and experience in the relevant department. Candidates must still give their graduation and post-graduation details in the application form. The recruitment is for experienced people, and freshers cannot apply.

Applicants must currently be working with, or have retired from, a government body, Indian Railways, a public sector undertaking (PSU) or a metro organisation. Eligibility will be reckoned as on October 1, 2026.

Age will also be counted as on October 1. This applies to those applying on deputation or post-retirement contract (PRCE). For deputation, a candidate can be at most 55 years old. For post-retirement contract, the age must be at least 55 and at most 62.

According to the notification, the usual period of deputation will be five years. In special circumstances it can be extended to seven years. Selection will be on the basis of an interview. Post-retirement contract appointments will be made on the basis of a personal interview and a medical fitness test.

They should read carefully all conditions relating to their department, post and salary, then download the application form and choose the relevant department and eligible post.

The form must carry personal and educational details, along with full details of the current job and salary, and all the required documents. It should then be sent by speed post to the Additional General Manager / Human Rights / Conciliation, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Metro Bhawan, Fire Brigade Lane, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.
