September 27 is set to bring weather relief to Maharashtra. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued any warning of heavy rain, thunderstorms or strong winds for any weather subdivision of the state in its latest forecast.

None of the state's four subdivisions, Konkan-Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha, has a weather alert for September 27. However, some areas may still see cloudy skies and light rain.

A warning for thunderstorms and strong winds had been issued for Vidarbha on September 26, but that alert will expire on September 27, meaning there is no significant warning for Vidarbha on that day either.

In Mumbai, the sky will remain cloudy on September 27 with a chance of light rain. According to the IMD's Mumbai-Colaba forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 27 degrees Celsius. No weather warning has been issued for the city.

Pune is also likely to see generally cloudy skies and light rain on September 27. According to the Pune-Pashan forecast, the maximum temperature could be 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 21 degrees Celsius. No warning has been issued here either.

This relief is not expected to last long. After September 27, the weather in central Maharashtra could turn active again between September 28 and 30. The IMD has issued a warning for these three days for thunderstorms, lightning and squalls, meaning strong gusty winds.

Nagpur recorded a temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius on September 27. The maximum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum 23 degrees Celsius. Morning humidity was 93 percent and atmospheric pressure was 1006. The city's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 51, which falls in the moderate category.

Mumbai recorded a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius on September 27. The maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum 27 degrees Celsius. Humidity was 82 percent and atmospheric pressure was 1009. Mumbai's AQI was recorded at 66, which also falls in the moderate category.
