The second ODI of the series between India and West Indies is being played at the stadium in Guwahati. West Indies have made a strong start, largely because of opener John Campbell, who has scored a century.

India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first, so West Indies batted first. From what is visible so far, the decision has proved largely wrong.

John Campbell and Keacy Carty opened the innings for West Indies. Carty was dismissed for 9. At the other end, Campbell attacked the Indian bowlers and completed his century in just 65 balls. He scored 101 in an aggressive innings before being dismissed. The Indian bowlers struggled against him early on.
