Borgaon police station has been adjudged the best in Class B in the annual inspection of Satara district police stations and honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
Titewadi: Borgaon police station has been adjudged the best police station in Class B in the annual inspection of police stations in Satara district. In recognition of its performance, the station was honoured with a certificate of appreciation.
The annual inspection was held under the guidance of Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Special Inspector General of Police, Kolhapur Range, and Nikhil Pingle, Superintendent of Police, Satara. The inspection reviewed the overall functioning of Borgaon police station, including its administrative work, law and order, measures to prevent crime, ability to detect crime and the various steps taken for citizens' safety. Taking note of the station's work in all these areas, it was named the best police station in Class B.
The honour is seen as recognition not of a single officer but of the combined work of the entire police team, including the officer in charge, sub-inspectors and every police personnel.
The honour is seen as a tribute to the sustained work of officers and staff under Prashant Hule, Assistant Police Inspector and in-charge of Borgaon police station. The police team is continuously working to curb crime, keep watch on suspects, investigate crimes effectively, attend to citizens' complaints and maintain law and order in the area. Sub-inspector Machhindranath Patil and all other officers and staff of the station made an important contribution to this performance.
