Patparganj MLA Ravinder Singh Negi has demanded that a scene in 'Tu Mil Jaye' be changed and called Shah Rukh Khan a "jihadi", a remark being seen as controversial.

Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'King' is in the news even before its release. This time, however, the talk is not about the film's story or its cast. Deepika Padukone's outfit in one of the songs has become the source of a new controversy.

In the film's song 'Tu Mil Jaye', Padukone is seen in a saffron-coloured outfit. Ravinder Singh Negi, the BJP MLA from Delhi's Patparganj seat, has objected to her look. Negi did not stop there. He also made serious allegations against Khan and warned that a movement would be launched across the country if the scene in the song was not changed.

In the song, Padukone is seen dancing in a saffron outfit, and Negi expressed anger over this scene. In an interview, he described it as a conspiracy to defame Sanatan Dharma.

In the interview, Negi also targeted Khan directly. He said, "This is their nature, because this is a Shah Rukh Khan film. Shah Rukh Khan and all these jihadis of the country earn money from the country and defame the country. They have a problem with the colour saffron, and Deepika Padukone is just a pawn. These jihadis are behind her. I will call Shah Rukh Khan a jihadi." Negi's statement is being seen as controversial.

Negi says the outfit and the style of dance in 'Tu Mil Jaye' do not befit Sanatan Dharma. For this reason, he has demanded that the scene in the song be changed.

Issuing a direct warning to Khan, he said, "We warn Shah Rukh Khan that if this scene is not changed, there will be protests across the country. Anything against Sanatan Dharma will not be tolerated." After this statement, the controversy over 'King' has drawn even more attention.

The episode is being compared with Khan's film 'Pathaan'. In the song 'Besharam Rang' from that film, released about three years ago, Padukone wore a saffron bikini. Her outfit had then triggered a major controversy. Several Hindu organisations had opposed the song and held protests.

Now, once again, a controversy has erupted over Padukone's saffron outfit in a Khan film. All eyes are on whether this scene in 'King' will be changed, and whether Khan or the film's makers will respond to the matter.
