A trivial argument over a bike turned into a clash between two groups at Kalpana Talkies square, within the limits of Nagpur's Mankapur police station. Both sides have filed separate complaints with the police, who have registered separate cases against both parties. The incident took place near Kalpana Talkies square on the evening of September 21.

According to the complainant, Sagar Yadav Jenekar was riding home on his bike. At the time, traffic near the square was jammed because of a Star bus. In the crowd, Sagar parked his bike facing the bus driver, and this led to an argument with some people who were already standing there. According to Sagar's complaint, Mohammed Joheb and his associates abused and threatened him before assaulting him, injuring him.

In the same case, 19-year-old Mohammed Joheb Shaikh has filed his own separate complaint with the police. According to Joheb's complaint, while he was riding his bike, a person stopped his bike near the signal at Kalpana Talkies square and started an argument. When he was asked to move his bike aside, Sagar Yadav Jenekar allegedly abused him, threatened to kill him, and struck him on the head with an iron stand, Joheb's complaint states. Joheb suffered a head injury in the attack.

Taking both complaints into account, Mankapur police have registered cases against both parties. Since the two complaints contradict each other, police are still investigating exactly how and because of whom the incident began. Both cases currently rest only on the allegations filed, and no conclusion has been reached against either side. Further investigation is being carried out by Mankapur police station.
