Benelli has launched two new motorcycles in India in the premium adventure touring segment, the 2026 TRK 552 and TRK 552X. The TRK 552 is priced at Rs 7.22 lakh (ex-showroom) and the TRK 552X at Rs 7.74 lakh.
Bookings for both bikes have opened at the company's authorised dealerships across the country. The earlier model had a 499.6 cc engine. The new models replace it with a larger 552 cc engine.
The engine produces 50.5 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 49 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bigger engine is expected to deliver better performance on long journeys and highways. Both bikes weigh 235 kg, making them heavier than their rival models.
The two bikes differ in character. The TRK 552 is built mainly for road riding, with a seat height of 835 mm and ground clearance of 190 mm. The TRK 552X is designed with off-road riding in mind, with a seat height of 860 mm and ground clearance of 210 mm.
The wheels also differ. The TRK 552 has 17-inch alloy wheels. The TRK 552X has cross-spoke wheels, 19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear.
Both bikes have a 20-litre fuel tank. They also get heated grips, a heated rider seat, Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones and a tyre pressure monitoring system. A 5-inch TFT display with offline maps is also provided.
The TRK 552 is available in black and white, while the TRK 552X comes in white and green. A limited edition of the TRK 552X in yellow is also available, priced at Rs 7.90 lakh.
The new bikes cost more than Rs 1 lakh more than the previous model. In this segment, they will compete with the Honda NX500 E-Clutch and the Kawasaki Versys 650.
