Bajaj Auto's Pulsar series is set for another major update. Three of the company's bikes, the Pulsar NS200, N250 and NS400Z, have been spotted during testing with new equipment. All three models are likely to get a 5-inch TFT instrument console, while the NS200 has also shown a bigger change related to its suspension.

This new TFT screen is being introduced gradually across the Pulsar range. The console is expected to offer features such as smartphone connectivity, Google Maps mirroring, music controls, notifications and document storage. Updated switchgear and a 4-way controller are also expected to control the screen.

The Pulsar NS200 test model has been seen with USD front forks carrying WP branding, along with adjustable brake and clutch levers. This suggests the NS200 update is not limited to the screen, but may also include changes to the suspension and riding hardware. However, current reports suggest no major changes are expected to the engine.

The Pulsar N250 has also been spotted testing with the 5-inch TFT screen. The bike already comes with a 37 mm USD front fork, traction control and multiple ABS modes. The new update is therefore likely to focus mainly on technology and switchgear.

An updated Pulsar NS400Z model has been seen at a dealership with the new TFT screen. The bike is expected to retain its 349.13 cc liquid-cooled engine, which produces 40.6 PS of power and 33.2 Nm of torque. The NS400Z may also get some minor cosmetic changes along with the new screen.

According to information available so far, the NS200 has a 199.5 cc engine, the N250 a 249.07 cc engine and the NS400Z a 349.13 cc engine. The main focus of all these updates appears to be features, connectivity and hardware. Bajaj Auto has not yet announced an official launch date or final price for these bikes.
