Audi launches new-generation Q3 SUV in India at Rs 51.99 lakh ex-showroom

German luxury carmaker Audi has launched the new-generation Q3 SUV in India. The starting ex-showroom price of the car is Rs 51.99 lakh. The new model comes with a striking design, an advanced lighting system, an updated interior and several modern features. The SUV is assembled locally at the SAVWIPL plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The new Audi Q3 is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI turbo petrol engine, which produces 201 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The SUV reaches 100 kmph from a standstill in just 7.1 seconds. It gets Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system, which distributes power between the front and rear wheels depending on road grip.
Audi drive select offers five driving modes: Balanced, Dynamic, Comfort, Efficiency and Offroad+. Hill-hold assist and downhill assist are also provided.
On the design front, the new Q3 has Digital Matrix LED headlamps. The system has 25,600 micro-LED light elements, and buyers can choose from four daytime running light signatures. The 18-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, LED tail lamps and illuminated Audi logo add to the car's premium look.
The cabin has a 30.22 cm virtual cockpit and a 32.51 cm MMI touchscreen. A head-up display, a 420-watt Sonos audio system with 12 speakers, 3-zone climate control, ambient lighting in 30 colours and wireless smartphone connectivity make the journey more comfortable. The front seats are electrically adjustable, while the rear seats can be reclined and slid forward and back.
For safety, the new Audi Q3 has nine airbags, adaptive cruise control, front emergency brake assist and a driver attention monitor. Park Assist Plus and a reversing assistant help with parking. The reversing assistant can replay the previously driven path for up to 50 metres.
Audi has announced 15 years of roadside assistance with the car, and the option of a service package or extended warranty for up to 10 years. Financing for up to 10 years and an assured buyback facility are also offered.
