The trailer of the Marathi film Aadi Anant, built on the bond between a grandfather and grandson, has been released. Presented by Panorama Studios, the film will reach audiences on November 12. The story is woven from stubbornness, funny conversations, companionship and moving moments.
A notable feature of the trailer launch was that it was unveiled by the family members of the Aadi Anant team.
Ashok Saraf and Sankarshan Karhade play the lead roles. The trailer offers a glimpse of an unusual family story. The banter between grandfather and grandson, the ups and downs of emotion and the moments that give the relationship a new direction are brought together in it. This raises curiosity about the film.
Every home has its grandparents' particular habits and its grandchildren's stubborn demands, and many memorable stories come out of them. In Aadi Anant, the grandfather-grandson relationship also blossoms in such varied colours. The difference in outlook between two generations, the effort to adjust to each other and the tension hidden in the relationship appear to shape the story. The scenes in the trailer bring out not only the emotional side of the bond but also its natural humour and entertainment.
Director Mahesh Limaye says, "While putting the grandfather-grandson relationship on screen, I found its ease and the small moments between them important. In this relationship there is sometimes fun, sometimes differences, and sometimes a closeness that words cannot hold. In Aadi Anant, an honest attempt has been made to present all these aspects. Watching the film, audiences will surely be reminded of the people in their own homes. Though it is about a grandfather and grandson, it is a film about every relationship, and the whole family should watch it together."
Producers Sameer Hampi and Aniket Marathe say, "We liked the simplicity of the story of Aadi Anant and the different style of its relationships. The film makes clear how important the time spent with family is in today's hectic life. The pairing of Ashok Saraf and Sankarshan Karhade adds a special colour to the story. It is a family film that entertains and also gives audiences a sense of belonging."
The producers of Aadi Anant, presented by Panorama Studios, are Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Muralidhar Chhatwani, Sameer Hampi, Mahesh Limaye and Aniket Marathe. Ravindra Auti and Darshan Shah are the co-producers. Directed by Mahesh Limaye, the film has its story, screenplay and dialogues by Sankarshan Karhade. Sakhi Gokhale, Vaidehi Parshurami, Yogesh Shirsat, Kavita Lad, Aarav Ahir, Shreerang Godbole and Guru Thakur also appear in the film alongside Ashok Saraf and Sankarshan Karhade.
