A major deal has emerged in Mumbai's real estate market. The luxury tower Embassy Terazza on Juhu Tara Road has been bought in its entirety for Rs 712 crore. The deal is not for a single flat but for the whole building, and it is being seen as the country's most expensive and largest residential deal.

The purchase has been made by Angel One founder Dinesh Thakkar. The Juhu Tara Road area is known for the homes of Bollywood celebrities and big names in the film industry. Thakkar has bought the entire building, from the ground floor to the 7th floor.

The tower has a total carpet area of 63,000 square feet. For Thakkar, it is in a sense his own private residence, which he has now bought for himself and his family. The deal is being seen as a landmark move in Mumbai's real estate sector.

Dinesh Thakkar is an Indian businessman and the founder of financial and stock market broking company Angel One. He serves as the company's Chairman and Managing Director. His story is considered inspiring, as he comes from an ordinary textile trading family.

Thakkar entered the stock market in the 1990s. He transformed the traditional broking business with digital technology, building his own business empire without any major business background.

Most homes in the Juhu Tara Road area belong to Bollywood celebrities and leading industrialists. The tower Thakkar has bought has a modern security system, private parking, luxury design and several world-class amenities.

The deal makes clear how fast the demand for premium and luxury homes is growing in Mumbai's real estate market.
