The Amalner Co-op. Urban Bank Ltd, based in Amalner in Jalgaon district, has announced recruitment to various vacant posts for its cooperative bank unit covering the Jalgaon district area of operation. Applications are being accepted online.

Five clerk posts are to be filled. Candidates must be graduates of a recognised university and hold an MS-CIT or equivalent computer course certificate. Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi and English is also required. The age limit is 22 to 35 years.

Preference for the clerk post will go to candidates who have experience as a clerk in the cooperative banking sector or another financial institution, who can type in Marathi and English, or who have completed JAIIB, CAIIB or GDC&A. Preference will also go to those holding a diploma in banking, cooperation or law from other government-recognised institutions (ICM, IIBF, VAMNICOM and others).

There are 2 vacancies for peon. Candidates must have passed Class 10 at the minimum and know Marathi. The age limit is 21 to 33 years.

Applicants for the IT assistant post must hold a degree from a recognised university in computer science or information technology and in systems or databases. Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi and English is required here too, and the age limit is 22 to 35 years. The bank will give preference to those with experience in a similar post in a cooperative bank or financial institution and to diploma holders in banking, cooperation or law.

Applications opened at 10:00 am on October 3, 2026, and can be submitted until 5:00 pm on October 17, 2026. The examination fee is Rs 950, with 18% GST and applicable bank charges extra.

The selection examination will be conducted online. It will carry 90 marks and have multiple-choice questions, with a duration of 90 minutes. Questions will cover general knowledge, aptitude, reasoning, mathematics, Marathi and English grammar, computer literacy and banking. The online test will be followed by an interview carrying 10 marks.
