Ajay Devgn's Drishyam franchise to end with part 3, director rules out part 4
Director Abhishek Pathak says there is zero chance of a Drishyam 4 as the Hindi franchise concludes with Drishyam: The Conclusion
Fans have long been waiting eagerly to see the third part of Ajay Devgn's Drishyam franchise. The film, titled Drishyam: The Conclusion, will release in cinemas on October 2, 2026. The makers have already said this is the third and final part of the Drishyam series.
The first part of the franchise came out in 2015, while Drishyam 2 released in 2022. Ajay Devgn is set to reprise the role of Vijay Salgaonkar once again. The film's trailer released on September 9, after which anticipation for the film has grown further.
The title Drishyam: The Conclusion itself hints that this will be the end of Vijay Salgaonkar's story. But fans have been wondering whether a fourth part will be made after Drishyam 3.
Director Abhishek Pathak has given a clear answer to this in an interview. When asked how likely it is that a Hindi Drishyam 4 will be made, he said simply, "Zero." He further said that he does not plan to write a Drishyam 4.
According to Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam: The Conclusion is the right ending to Vijay Salgaonkar's story. He and his entire team have worked hard on this film, and he has no intention of making another part just for money.
This makes it clear that, for now, Ajay Devgn's Hindi Drishyam franchise will end with the third part.
Notably, Ajay Devgn's Drishyam: The Conclusion is not a direct remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam film Drishyam 3. According to Abhishek Pathak, the story of the Hindi film is separate and independent.
The film will again feature Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta and Mrinal Jadhav alongside Ajay Devgn. Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Saurabh Shukla will appear in new roles.
All eyes are now on how Vijay Salgaonkar will save his family from trouble this time, and how his story will finally end.
