Airtel adds Apple iCloud+, TV and Arcade to family postpaid plans

Bharti Airtel has made a major change to its family postpaid plans. Airtel family postpaid plans priced at Rs 999 and above will now come with Apple iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade. This means customers will get mobile connectivity along with cloud storage, entertainment and gaming, all in a single plan.

According to the company, customers on family postpaid plans of Rs 999 and above will get the benefit of Apple's extended iCloud+ service. This will allow personal photos, files, passwords, contacts and other essential digital data to be stored and synced securely. Through iCloud+, customers can also back up essential data from their Apple devices, which will also help while setting up a new iPhone or another Apple device.

The other major feature in this update is the addition of Apple TV and Apple Arcade. Apple TV will give customers access to Apple's original series and movies, while Apple Arcade will offer a collection of various games. The company says games on Apple Arcade can be played without advertisements and without in-app purchases. With this, Airtel postpaid plans now combine connectivity with entertainment, gaming and cloud storage.

The Rs 999 Airtel family postpaid plan offers benefits for a family of three. It already includes unlimited data with FastLane Technology, spam protection and various entertainment subscriptions. With Apple iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade now added to the same plan, customers will be able to use several digital services through a single postpaid plan.

iCloud+ could prove especially useful for customers using Apple devices, as information such as photos, files, passwords and contacts can be stored securely and synced across different Apple devices. This will make it easier to manage digital content and transfer data to a new device.

Bharti Airtel's Director, Market Operations, Amit Tripathi, said the company is focused on offering customers entertainment and a digital experience along with connectivity in a single plan. He said the addition of Apple iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade has added more benefits to Airtel Family Postpaid Plans.
