Marathi actor Omkar Bhojane is currently in the news over his upcoming film 'Afratafari'. But a rift has now come to light between Omkar and the film's director, Milind Kavade, over the film's promotion. Kavade had expressed displeasure in an interview over Omkar's absence from a promotional event, and Omkar has now responded to these allegations.

Director Milind Kavade and his team are currently busy with the film's promotion. During an interview, Kavade expressed displeasure over how Omkar was not participating in the promotion. He claimed Omkar does not take his calls, and questioned his professional conduct.

Responding to this, Omkar Bhojane said, "I am going to take part in the film's promotional events from now on. I am in touch with their team and the EPs. I don't know why the director said this, but I will definitely respond to it." Following his statement, it is now clear that he will take part in 'Afratafari' promotions. But what detailed response he gives to the director's allegations remains to be seen.

Kavade also claimed that Omkar was informed back in June that the film would release in October. He said attempts were made to contact him for promotion after that, but the expected response did not come from him.

"Omkar is so busy that he does not pick up anyone's calls. He did not take calls from any of the three of us. When we call, all we get is one message: 'Bro, I'll call you back.' This has been going on for the last four months," Milind Kavade said.

Kavade also made clear that this experience has led him to decide against working with Omkar in future films. "I've learnt my lesson now. I will not take Omkar in my next film at all. I have worked a great deal so far, but he is very unprofessional in this. Not taking the director's calls, not taking the producers' calls, stringing along the EP, and constantly saying 'coming, coming'... this is what you call unprofessional," Kavade claimed.

Meanwhile, Omkar has made clear that he is in touch with the film's team. With statements from both sides, the dispute that began over 'Afratafari's promotion is now a talking point.
