Abbas-Mustan's thriller '3 Monkeys' to release on December 4, clashing with Shraddha Kapoor's 'Eetha'
Arjun Rampal's thriller, directed by Abbas-Mustan, has a motion poster out and will open in cinemas worldwide on December 4, 2026.
The makers of Arjun Rampal's upcoming thriller '3 Monkeys' have announced the film and released its first motion poster. It will release in cinemas worldwide on December 4, 2026.
The film is being directed by the well-known duo Abbas-Mustan. Since the announcement, anticipation among fans has grown.
Along with Arjun Rampal, Vishal Jethwa, Mustafa Burmawala and Tenzin Dalha will play key roles. Vishal Jethwa will play 'Amar', Mustafa Burmawala 'Akbar' and Tenzin Dalha 'Anthony'. Arjun Rampal is said to be playing 'Sanjay'.
The motion poster offers a glimpse of the three characters, but the makers have not shared much about their story. Curiosity remains over what the real story of 'Amar-Akbar-Anthony' is.
The film was announced on Gandhi Jayanti. The motion poster presents the well-known idea of the 'three monkeys' in a new way.
In place of the old message of 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil', the film carries a new tagline: 'See everything, listen to yourself and speak fearlessly'. Abbas-Mustan have tried to link the three characters to the outlook of today's generation.
The duo, known for thrillers such as 'Baazigar', 'Race' and 'Ajnabee', are returning to the genre with '3 Monkeys'. The film's mystery and story have been kept under wraps for now, so the wait for the trailer has grown longer after the motion poster.
Notably, Shraddha Kapoor's film 'Eetha', with her in the lead role, is also reported to be releasing on December 4, 2026. The two films will therefore clash at the box office in December.
All eyes are now on which film audiences will prefer: Arjun Rampal's thriller or Shraddha Kapoor's 'Eetha'.
