Aaditya Thackeray denies charges in reply to Satish Salian's Rs 500 crore notice
Aaditya Thackeray's lawyers have rejected all allegations in Disha Salian's father Satish Salian's Rs 500 crore defamation notice.
The Disha Salian case, which has drawn nationwide attention, has taken a new turn. Disha Salian's father Satish Salian had sent a Rs 500 crore defamation notice to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray. It has now emerged that Aaditya Thackeray has replied to the notice, rejecting all the allegations made against him.
According to information received, the reply to Satish Salian's legal notice was sent on behalf of Aaditya Thackeray. It is being said that the reply was drafted and sent by Aaditya Thackeray's lawyers. Aaditya Thackeray has dismissed as baseless all the allegations made in Satish Salian's Rs 500 crore notice.
Aaditya Thackeray has claimed that the social media post made on September 16 did not name Satish Salian anywhere. In his reply, he has also clearly stated that no sentence in that post specifically pointed towards Satish Salian.
Aaditya Thackeray's lawyers have also said in their reply that he had no intention of defaming Satish Salian. Aaditya Thackeray has also demanded that the allegations made in the entire case should be probed at the government level and that the matter should be investigated impartially. Aaditya Thackeray's lawyers have sent this detailed reply to Satish Salian's notice running to a total of 26 pages.
All eyes are now on what stance Satish Salian takes on Aaditya Thackeray's reply and how he responds to it. It remains to be seen whether either side takes any further legal steps.
