Manoj Jarange has shared an audio clip, and a dispute has flared up in the Mahayuti alliance as a result. The names of people linked to the BJP have also surfaced in the clip. The allegation is that Rs 500 crore was paid on behalf of the BJP through Shrikant Shinde. Jarange had sought an answer from Eknath Shinde on this.
After Jarange's allegation, leaders of the Shinde faction are now targeting BJP leaders directly. Ramdas Kadam of the Shinde faction has alleged that BJP leaders are trying to cut his throat through a case. BJP MLA Prasad Lad has responded aggressively to Kadam's allegations.
MLA Pravin Darekar also gave a strong reply to the allegations of Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam. Darekar said it was wrong of Kadam to speak in an irresponsible manner. He asked who had been backing Jarange from behind the scenes and who had been defaming Devendra Fadnavis. According to Darekar, if the BJP is blamed, it will get tit-for-tat in reply.
Lad said that if what Kadam says about Eknath Shinde and his son were brought out, Kadam would be in trouble. He made the remark in reply to Kadam.
Over the audio clip, a rift has begun between the Shinde faction and the BJP. Both parties are accusing each other and appear to be trying to outdo one another. Tension inside the Mahayuti appears to have risen over the past two days.
Despite all this, MP Shrikant Shinde has so far not stated any position. All eyes are on how he will react to Jarange's allegations of Rs 500 crore. Even as the political temperature rises, his silence has intensified talk in political circles.
