Sharad Pawar faction MLA Rohit Pawar also targeted the Ajit Pawar faction, the AI data centre project and the government's drought response.

Sharad Pawar faction MLA Rohit Pawar has made a significant statement on Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Political activity in the state has picked up, with the ruling side and the Opposition in confrontation. Talk of a merger of the Nationalist Congress Party and the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) is also strong.

Rohit Pawar indirectly appealed to Shinde not to stay with the BJP for too long. He said parties that share power with the BJP could suffer political damage. He also sharply criticised the BJP. There has been talk for some time that all is not well within the Mahayuti, and Rohit Pawar's statement has raised many eyebrows. The question is therefore being asked whether the state will see another political upheaval.

Rohit Pawar also took a dig at the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party. He said, "They themselves do not know what is going on in their own family's other party."

He also targeted the government over the AI data centre issue. Rohit Pawar claimed that some BJP workers themselves have no information about the AI data centre. Responding to the statement that "the data centre will be built even if 100 Pawars come", he said, "Why 100? One Pawar alone is enough for you." He also expressed suspicion that people close to local MLAs have a stake in the project.

On the farm loan waiver, Rohit Pawar said the state government's scheme is not one of loan waiver but of loan recovery. According to him, promises made to farmers have not been fulfilled so far. He warned that the loan waiver must be granted by the winter session.

He also demanded that recovery by microfinance companies be halted for at least one year, with the government taking responsibility for it.

On the drought, Rohit Pawar said this year's situation is worse than in 1972. He said his heart is heavy at seeing the condition of farmers and their families. He demanded that the government immediately start fodder camps and resolve the water problem.
