Poco launches X8s 5G in Vietnam with 50MP camera and 120Hz OLED display
Poco has launched the mid-range X8s in Vietnam, the fifth phone in its X8 series, with pre-orders open from VND 11,500,000.
Tech company Poco has launched its new smartphone, the Poco X8s, in Vietnam. The phone has been introduced in the mid-range segment and is the fifth smartphone in the company's Poco X8 series.
The company had earlier launched the Poco X8 Pro, X8 Pro Max, X8 and X8 Power under the same series. It has now added another phone to the line-up.
The Poco X8s comes in two RAM and storage variants, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The 8GB+256GB variant is priced at VND 11,500,000, or about Rs 42,000. The 12GB+512GB variant costs VND 14,000,000, or about Rs 51,000. The phone will be available in black, white and blue. Pre-orders have begun.
The Poco X8s has a 6.35-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits and side bezels of 1.18mm.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It comes with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options of 256GB and 512GB of UFS 4.0.
For photography, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, with a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and has an IP68 rating. It has a 6,330mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
For connectivity, the phone offers 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB Type-C port. It also has an infrared blaster and a metal frame.
