Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRC) has started selling the Aqua Line Passport from today at the ten stations of Mumbai Metro Line 3, the Aqua Line.

The passport will be available at Cuffe Parade, Churchgate, Hutatma Chowk, CSMT Metro, Worli, Siddhivinayak, Dharavi, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), CSMIA-T2 and Marol Naka metro stations. Passengers can buy it at whichever of these stations they board the metro.

The passport has been brought out under an initiative called the "Aqua Line Passport and Stamp Trail". It is a limited edition. The aim is that daily commuters, metro enthusiasts, tourists and visitors to Mumbai can collect special station stamps while enjoying Mumbai's first underground metro line. The Aqua Line Passport is priced at Rs 250.

The passport will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. It carries postcard-style artwork and has separate pages for the stamps. It has been prepared to mark one year since services began on the entire Metro-3 route.

With this initiative, the Aqua Line has become the country's first metro to have its own passport, with a stamp trail based on 10 stations. MMRC has sought to make the metro journey more interesting and memorable through it.

Passengers will be able to complete their Aqua Line Stamp Trail by collecting stamps from all ten Metro-3 stations. The Rs 250 passport is available only through digital payment, so it cannot be bought with cash.

The number of passports is limited. Passengers have therefore been asked to get their copies as soon as possible and begin this special Aqua Line journey. Those who want the stamp of every station in their passport will have to visit all ten stations.
