According to astrology, Mercury will turn retrograde in Libra on Saturday, October 24, and begin moving backwards. Mercury is regarded as the symbol of intellect, speech, business and communication. For that reason, the change in its movement may bring new opportunities for several zodiac signs and open a way to improve ongoing work.

Mercury's retrograde motion begins just before Diwali. This is an important time for those involved in business and financial transactions. During this period, it may help to take decisions carefully, keep a proper account of every transaction and check important documents. Here is a look at which signs may benefit.

For Taurus, the coming period may be full of new hopes and good changes. Long-running family disputes may be resolved, increasing love and harmony. Standing in society will grow stronger and respect may rise. Young people looking for jobs may find good opportunities. Mercury's retrograde motion will be favourable for Sagittarius. Those planning to go abroad may get positive news. Success is likely in business and in work linked to foreign countries. Stalled visas and other necessary papers are expected to be completed. Money matters will improve and new avenues of income may open. Those in jobs may get a chance at promotion, while job seekers may also find good opportunities.

For Aquarius, this movement of Mercury will be auspicious and bring happiness. Long-running struggles and obstacles may end. Relief is possible in matters related to ancestral property, and an auspicious event in the family is likely. Those hoping for a child may receive good news.
