Marathi stars Umesh Kamat and Priya Bapat mark 15 years of marriage with romantic photos
The popular Marathi screen couple shared wishes and photographs on social media on their 15th wedding anniversary on October 6.
Umesh Kamat and Priya Bapat, a popular pair of the Marathi entertainment world, have completed 15 years of marriage. The couple are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary on October 6. On the occasion, Umesh and Priya wished each other on social media and shared some special photographs.
The two first met in 2002 at the premiere of the film "Bhet". They later became friends on the sets of the serial "Abhalmaya", and the friendship gradually turned into love. After dating for about eight years, Umesh and Priya married on Dussehra in 2011.
On their anniversary, the couple shared a special post on social media, in which they spoke of their memories of the past 15 years together and of the support they have been to each other.
They wrote, "Wishing us a very happy 15th wedding anniversary! These 15 years have taught us a lot. We grew, learnt new things, stumbled on some occasions, laughed to our heart's content and held on firmly to each other through every test of time."
They went on to write, "May we stay together like this, as trusted partners, friends, colleagues, co-producers, companions on the journey... and most important, as husband and wife. It has been 15 years and we are still choosing each other."
