Marathi singer Mugdha Vaishampayan swims in river in sari during Ganpati immersion
Marathi singer Mugdha Vaishampayan shared a video of herself swimming in a river in a sari during Ganpati immersion in Konkan.
Ganeshotsav in the Konkan region has a flavour of its own, and this year, as always, many people travelled to their native villages there to celebrate the festival with family. Several Marathi artists too returned to their villages for the occasion.
Among them, well known Marathi singer Mugdha Vaishampayan shared a special glimpse of Ganeshotsav in Konkan with her fans. During the Ganpati immersion, the singer was seen swimming in a river while wearing a sari.
Mugdha Vaishampayan and Prathamesh Laghate celebrated Ganeshotsav with great enthusiasm this year as well. Mugdha shared a video of the immersion on her social media account, shot by Prathamesh.
In the video, Mugdha is seen swimming freely in the river in a traditional sari. She had this experience while swimming in the Aravali river during the Ganpati immersion.
Sharing the video, Mugdha wrote about the experience, saying she is used to swimming in a well, but swimming in a river while wearing a sari was a completely new experience for her.
