Kalagaurav Puraskar 2026 ceremony to be held at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai on October 7

The Kalagaurav Puraskar 2026 ceremony will be held in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. It is being organised by Sharad Pratibhashali Sanskritik Pratishthan, Maharashtra State.

The event will begin at 2.30 pm at Ravindra Natya Mandir in Prabhadevi.

The foundation said the ceremony will honour people who have done notable work in fields across Maharashtra, including social work, culture, the arts, literature, education, sports and industry. The aim is to recognise the work of accomplished people who have made an important contribution to the progress of society.

The awards have started this year. They have been launched on the occasion of the organisation's second anniversary.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sharad Pawar will be the chief guest. Baramati MP Supriya Sule will be present as the main guide. The organisation's president, bhajan samrat and Koynaratna Ha.Bha.Pa. Rajaram Buva Shelar will also attend.

Among those to be honoured with this year's Kalagaurav Puraskar are Ravindra Hanumant Chavan, a skilled worker from Pune. Yuvraj Disle of Pune will also be honoured for his contribution to sport. Dr Rajendra Bhavalkar, a well-known social worker from Baramati, is also on the list.

The three have continued to do notable work in their fields and to make contributions that serve society, which is why they are being honoured, the foundation said.

On behalf of its president, the organisation has appealed to all discerning citizens, art lovers and members of the foundation's family to attend the ceremony and make the occasion memorable.
