Jarange Patil on audio clip: Why would I approach a woman holding such a senior post

Maratha reservation agitation leader Manoj Jarange Patil has once again taken an aggressive stand over the audio clip. He claims the clip refers to a woman holding a senior post. He has responded to those questioning whether the clip is genuine, and warned that if an attempt is made to suppress the matter, it will raise separate questions.

Jarange said the clip mentions a woman in a senior post. According to him, he has learnt that she runs a large network of planning. Jarange asked why he would go to such a woman. He said that if he had made the clip, or if it had been made with AI, there would be no reason for it to mention a murder in Shrirampur. He also referred to an incident involving a girl from Bhaginagar and asked why he would take up these matters in a clip. He said that if he were to fabricate something, he would put in his own issues, that is, look after his own interests.

Jarange said the Maratha community and the general public know everything. He said plainly that if those entangled in the matter try to suppress it, it will be proved that they themselves had a hand in it.

He said that even if Rs 500 crore had been paid, BJP people would not stay silent. According to him, there is unease within both parties. Jarange asked why the woman would lie about money being given to Shinde. He said it would be a different matter if she were an ordinary woman or worked on contract, but since she holds a senior post, why would she lie.

Jarange targeted his opponents, and those demanding that the authenticity of the clip be verified. He said the Maratha community and the public are aware of the situation, and expressed anger over the allegations against him. He also claimed that the people concerned have become uneasy over the matter, and that this raises suspicion that they are connected to it. However, these are all only allegations for now and need to be investigated separately.
