Manoj Jarange Patil, leader of the Maratha reservation movement, has once again made serious allegations. Speaking at a press conference, he said people linked to the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister are preparing to attack him. He said his house could be attacked at any time and that a conspiracy to kill him is being hatched.
According to Jarange Patil, the government has withdrawn his security. He also alleged that police did not give him security till the very end at the Dussehra fair. At the press conference, he levelled direct allegations against Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Earlier, Jarange Patil had made allegations involving Rs 500 crore against the Shiv Sena and the BJP, which caused a stir not only in the state but across the country. He had also referred to an audio clip concerning the Rs 500 crore, which further heated up the matter. Since those allegations, leaders of the BJP and the Shinde faction have been continuously targeting Jarange Patil. The matter was still fresh when Jarange Patil created a fresh stir with new allegations.
Jarange Patil said this is a very big matter. In his words, "I have put my life at risk to bring all this out." He said the network of those people is very large and that his house could be attacked at any time.
On the audio clip, he said it had already gone viral before he presented it. He alleged that Ramdas Kadam, a leader of the Shinde faction, was the one who made it viral. He therefore said Kadam should be the first to be investigated. Jarange Patil also said that, having handed over the clip, Chief Minister Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Shinde should take full guarantee and responsibility for the source. He said he trusts Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde on this.
Some people are saying the clip was created using AI. Responding to this, Jarange Patil said everyone is convinced the clip is original. According to him, whatever the allegation of AI, everyone believes the audio clip is genuine.
Jarange Patil also targeted MP Shrikant Shinde. He said Eknath Shinde has already given his reply on the Rs 500 crore clip. Whether Shrikant Shinde speaks now or not is his right, he said, and it is not his fault, but Jarange Patil also taunted how he would stay silent.
