India have won the five-match series against New Zealand with three matches played, and the fourth T20 is at Eden Park on October 30.
India and New Zealand are playing a five-match T20 series. Three matches have been played and India have won all three, so the series is already in India's hands. All eyes are now on the fourth match.
The fourth T20 of the series will be played on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Eden Park in Auckland. The match begins at 12.30 pm Indian time. The question now is whether India win another match or New Zealand register their first win of the series.
In the third match, Abhishek Sharma struck a blistering century. The pair of Abhishek and Vaibhav Suryavanshi finished that match in the 13th over. India won the series by taking that match.
New Zealand have not yet opened their account in the series. Their batters appear to be in good form, but the bowling is not getting support. India's bowling is also not as good as it should be. Still, as the batting is in form, a win looks possible for India.
Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has returned to the Indian team after four years. In the last three matches he has dislodged only one batter, and he gave away a lot of runs in his four overs. His return to form will therefore be important for India. India's batters, however, look to be in very good form.
The Indian squad is: Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Tilak Varma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Naman Dhir, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav, Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Kumar Kushagra and Mayank Yadav.
The New Zealand squad includes Tim Seifert (wicketkeeper), Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Bevon Jacobs, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner (captain), Nathan Smith, Jacob Duffy, Kyle Jamieson, Adam Milne, Blair Tickner, Matthew Fisher and Devon Conway.
