Godrej Appliances offers 5-year warranty on Diwali exchange purchases

Godrej Appliances has announced offers for Diwali shoppers buying household goods and new electronic appliances. The company said it wanted to make buying new products easy and affordable, and has launched several festive offers under the "Godrej Warranty Promise".

The main feature of the offer is a five-year warranty. Customers who exchange their old appliance and buy a new Godrej product will get the five-year warranty from the company. It will cover air conditioners (AC), refrigerators, washing machines, coolers, microwave ovens and deep freezers.

Under the "Godrej Promise", customers will be given clear and complete details of every charge at the time of purchase. The company said there will be no hidden cost.

The company has also tried to ease the financial burden on customers, with some special financing options so that bringing home a new appliance does not weigh heavily on the household budget. Easy instalments (EMI) are available to make Diwali shopping simpler. Various cashback offers have also been announced so that customers save money directly during the festive days.

Demand for good-quality appliances is rising fast in the Indian market, driven by growing cities and rising incomes. Large refrigerators, high-capacity washing machines and premium air conditioners are among those in particular demand.

According to the company, many customers are very cautious when buying anything for the home. The five-year transparent warranty has been announced with this in mind. The company wants the experience of bringing a new appliance home to be a happy one for customers.

Kamal Nandi, business head of the appliances business at Godrej Enterprises Group, expressed confidence that its sales will grow 40 per cent during the festive season this year. He said the quality of the products, the five-year warranty and the growing number of stores would contribute to this. The 40 per cent figure is the company's expectation, not a result.
