Former Kalamnuri MLA Santosh Tarfe joins Shinde's Sena with Hingoli office-bearers

Former Kalamnuri MLA Dr Santosh Tarfe joined Shiv Sena, led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in the presence of Shinde at a party induction event in Mumbai. The move has dealt a major political blow to the Thackeray camp, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), in Hingoli district, amid a series of political developments over the past few days.

Dr Tarfe did not go alone. Thackeray camp district chief Gopu Patil, former Zilla Parishad president Ganaji Bele and former mayor Nandkishore Toshniwal also joined Shinde's Sena. Several other office-bearers and hundreds of workers also took up the saffron flag of the Shiv Sena. MLA Santosh Bangar was also present.

The induction is believed to strengthen the organisational strength of Shinde's Sena in Hingoli district. The development is being seen as significant against the backdrop of the upcoming local body elections.

Welcoming all those who joined, Shinde assured every necessary help for the progress of the tribal community. Shinde said, "Work for the community, work for the Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena will always stand with you for your development work and social progress. We will not let anything fall short."

Shinde also assured support for Hingoli's unfinished development works and basic facilities. He also appealed for a large convention to be held in Hingoli soon, and said he would himself attend it.
