Indian cricket team fast bowler and all-rounder Deepak Chahar has been hit by a theft in Agra. Three very expensive "player edition" bats kept in the India star's kit were stolen during a practice session. The three bats are said to be worth Rs 1.5 lakh in all.

According to the information available, Chahar had gone to practise at a ground in Shastripuram, Agra, where he had left his kit. Three bats suddenly went missing from it. All three are international-level "player edition" bats. A post says the bats were allegedly stolen from the Chahar Academy ground in Shastripuram.

Distressed by the theft, Chahar posted a video on Instagram in which he appears both emotional and angry. In it he asked, "Should we complain about this theft to the Agra Police, to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, or go straight to God?"

The video is going viral and fans have reacted sharply. The incident has caused a stir in cricket circles and on social media, and raised the question of security. Netizens are asking what will become of the safety of ordinary citizens if this can happen to an international player in his own city.

After the video went viral, fans and members of the public also questioned the local administration in strong terms on social media. All eyes are now on what action the Agra Police take in the matter.
