Congress national in-charge Bharatsinh Solanki announced on October 24 that the party will run a campaign across the country. It is called "Save democracy, save the Constitution, save the vote, save the country". It will run from November 1 to December 31. Its aim is to restore their constitutional right to the 13 crore voters who, according to Solanki, have been removed from the voter list.

Solanki was speaking at a press conference held at Congress Bhavan in Dharashiv city. District president Umesh Rajenimbalkar, former district president Adv. Dhiraj Patil, senior leader Vishwas Shinde and Latur Youth Congress district president Nilesh Deshmukh were present. Rajbhau Sherkhane, Prashant Patil, Khalil Syed, Agnivesh Shinde, Dhananjay Raut, Vinod Veer, Arvind Bedge, Bhaiyya Nirfal, Ayub Pathan, Dayanand Patil and other office-bearers also attended.

Solanki said that during Congress rule, election commissioners were appointed through a process involving a Supreme Court judge. He alleged that the BJP government scrapped this and that the work is now done through the Home Ministry. He said 13 crore voters across the country have been removed with the help of Gyanesh Kumar, who was appointed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He alleged that the BJP has been winning elections through the Election Commission and has carried out irregularities in EVMs and voter lists. He also said 62 lakh people have been removed in the SIR. In Solanki's words, pushing those removed away from the freedom to vote is the BJP's "mahapaap" (great sin). He reminded the audience that Congress made a major contribution to winning the country's independence.

Solanki said the Constitution has given citizens the right to vote, but the BJP has nothing to do with the country's freedom or the freedom of its citizens. According to him, Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has made fresh registration mandatory even for old voters. He said the names of economist Amartya Sen and of a grandson of Subhas Chandra Bose were also removed from the voter list. He claimed their vote theft had been caught in Haryana itself. He also said two colleagues of Gyanesh Kumar challenged his decisions 14 times in just 10 days.

Solanki alleged that Modi and Shah are strengthening Gyanesh Kumar. He said that in 2014 a nationwide uproar was created through Anna Hazare in the name of bringing the Lokpal. He asked why the BJP did not bring the Lokpal Bill after coming to power. On West Bengal, he alleged that as soon as it came to power, officials of its own choice replaced all the chief officers at Amit Shah's behest.

He said an SSR programme has been created in place of the SIR in seventeen states of the country. Elections are due in five states in the coming period, and Solanki expressed confidence that the BJP's defeat there is certain. He asked where the 13 crore removed voters had gone and why they had been removed.

Describing the party's plan, he said Congress will appoint BLA-2s by district, taluka, panchayat samiti and village. They will get removed and new voters added to the voter list and hand that list to the BLOs. For this, public awareness work will be held at Ramlila Maidan from November 1 to December 31, 2026, a period of two months. Solanki specifically said that all Congress office-bearers and workers across the country will take part in large numbers.
