Satish Jadhav, manager of Hotel Janaki at Chausala village in Beed taluka, died by suicide by hanging himself in a room of the hotel. The incident has caused alarm across the area.

According to police, Jadhav worked as manager at Hotel Janaki in Chausala. It is said that the hotel's owner, Dashrath Thorat, and his brother Vicky Thorat had been pressuring him continuously for some time. The reasons were money owed by customers and some other business matters.

Jadhav had to repeatedly face abuse over the recovery of the dues, and he was also treated with disrespect. The continuing harassment left him under severe mental stress. It has emerged that he took the extreme step because of the mental and financial harassment by the owner and his brother.

A team from Neknoor police station reached the spot as soon as it received word of the incident. Police carried out a panchnama and took the body into their custody. When police examined Jadhav's clothes, they found a letter in his pocket, which was a suicide note.

In the note, Jadhav gave a full account of the trouble and harassment from hotel owners Dashrath Thorat and Vicky Thorat. He wrote plainly that he was ending his life because he was fed up with the torment from the owners.

Jadhav's wife filed a complaint with police. On the basis of that complaint, Neknoor police station has registered a case of abetment of suicide against both hotel owner Dashrath Thorat and Vicky Thorat.

The deceased's relatives have demanded strict action against all those found guilty. Neknoor police are now investigating the matter in depth.
