Wisdom World School in Pune runs two ICSE campuses, at Wakad and Hadapsar: what parents should check

Wisdom World School has separate ICSE campuses at Wakad and Hadapsar, and parents should verify details for the specific campus before applying.
Wisdom World School (WWS) is a group of ICSE schools in Pune started by the Vishwakarma Purple Educational Trust. Its first campus opened in Wakad in 2010 and the Hadapsar-Amanora campus began in 2015. The school describes its teaching as a blend of academic rigour, all-round development and value-based education.
The first thing parents should understand is that WWS is not a single-campus school. It has two ICSE campuses in Pune, at Wakad and Hadapsar (Amanora), so parents should check the details of the campus where they intend to enrol their child. Universal Wisdom School, from the same group, is a separate institution that runs IB and Cambridge programmes. It should not be confused with these ICSE campuses.
The Wakad campus is at Park Street, Survey No. 210, Aundh Chest Hospital Road, near Kalewadi Chowk, Wakad, Pune 411057. The Hadapsar campus is at Kumar Picasso, S. No. 201 (part), Ramchandra Sakure Marg, Keshav Nagar, behind Amanora, Hadapsar, Pune 411028. According to the school, more than 3,800 children study across the two campuses and the teacher-student ratio is 1:10. These figures are the school's own. It is a co-educational day school teaching the ICSE curriculum, with subjects including English, mathematics, science, history, geography, languages, art, physical education, computer applications and commercial applications. The school places particular emphasis on the English language.
Admissions at the Wakad campus are stated to run from pre-nursery to Class 9, with Class 10 being the ICSE examination year. Admission depends on vacancies. For Classes 2 to 9, there is first an assessment, followed by an interaction with the principal. Applying online therefore does not mean a seat is confirmed. At Wakad, applications for pre-nursery, nursery, preparatory class and Class 1 are scheduled for November 16 to November 25, 2026. Applications for Classes 2 to 9 are expected in January 2027, subject to the school's confirmation. The process involves the application, submission of documents, an assessment where applicable, an interaction with the principal, selection and payment of fees.
The school describes its approach as student-centred, experiential and all-round. The Hadapsar campus mentions project-based learning, in which children apply what they have learnt in real situations. Smart classrooms, computer labs, projectors and digital tools are available. However, there was not enough evidence to present AI or robotics as a major formal subject across WWS. Similarly, there is not enough evidence of a separate financial literacy curriculum. Parents should ask directly from which class coding begins, and whether it is compulsory or optional.
Sports named include football, basketball, swimming, lawn tennis, athletics, skating, gymnastics, martial arts, yoga, meditation and archery. Hadapsar has a swimming pool, a multipurpose court and an indoor gym. Wakad has an air-conditioned auditorium with professional audio, video and lighting. Music, drama, dance, elocution, debate and quizzes are also part of the programme. Having facilities is not the same as having a competitive sports programme, so it is advisable to ask about coaches, inter-school competitions and participation at district or state level.
For safety, the school lists CCTV, visitor management, fire hydrants, smoke detectors and a central announcement system. It says its buses have CCTV cameras, GPS tracking and trained women attendants. Wakad also has a sick bay. The school itself speaks of academic, career and personal counselling, but parents should ask about the number and qualifications of counsellors. For children with special needs, the school describes an inclusive approach, but information on the exact number of special educators or therapists on each campus was not available.
On fees, no single combined table for 2026-27 is public. The school says fees vary by class and additional services, so it is better to obtain a written breakdown from the admissions office. Transport costs depend on route and distance. Parents should not treat old figures as current fees. Finally, parents should consider whether the child can reach Wakad or Amanora comfortably every day, judged by the actual journey at peak traffic hours.
